Do we need to walk every day?
No. There is no obligation to join the leader's proposed arrangements (we prefer to keep some flexibility and informality on our holidays) although we would ask that you keep the leader informed of your plans if you intend to do an independent walk or activity.

Do we have to do all the holiday excursions?
Itineraries are flexible, so if you want to go off on your own for a day, just let your holiday leader know and enjoy your day exploring!

These are truly family holidays! Ramblers Family Adventures are perfect for children aged 6 years to late teens, as well as for parents and guardians of all ages! Due to their small and friendly nature, our holidays are also proving extremely popular with grandparents and single parents too - there's no better way to spend the school holidays!

You know your family best so you set your own agenda and how relaxed you would like each day to be. Whether your feet are still young and tender, or perhaps a little older, we keep each walk fun and comfortable for everyone. Our walks are fun and comfortable for everyone. After a leisurely breakfast, your family can enjoy a 2-3 hour guided hike, fuelling midway with a relaxing stop for lunch. Join in with the day's walking or afternoon activities if you want to. But if you'd prefer to spend some quality time with your family, our leaders are full of ideas for exploring the local area. You may find a sports centre or a golf course to hand, or you might want to indulge in the local shops or relax on the beach - the choice is yours!

In common with all our walking holidays, you'll be led in small groups by friendly, experienced, qualified leaders. We're expert in ensuring you and your family have a safe and magical walking experience - and we always take exceptional care of the wonderful people and places we visit too. We wouldn't like to say there's a typical day but we always begin with a leisurely breakfast. Your hiking and activity leader will then offer you a 2-3 hour walk, with lunch along the way. Then it's back to your base, where you can choose to relax by the pool, try a new activity, explore further afield or get closer to the local culture. We hand-pick all our holiday locations to make sure there's always something your family will want to do.
