When can we go on holiday?

These holidays have been created just for families and as such are only available in school holidays. So you don’t need to worry about taking your children out of school and you can rest-assured that you’ll be paying the best price. Plus, we’ve worked closely with each hotel and restaurant to ensure they offer everything your family could need. 

What’s included in our family holidays?

We aim to include almost everything in the price of your holiday, so you only need to pay very little locally. Flights, coach or train transport to your hotel (with the exception of travel to Hassness House in the Lake District), half-board accommodation in a 3 or 4 star hotel (full board accommodation at Hassness House in the Lake District and the Hotel Alcadima in Andalucia) and the services of a first-aid trained hiking leader are included. Working up an appetite!

With all that outdoor actvity you are bound to work up an appetite. On some of our holidays, hotels will offer dinner every night and perhaps a weekly barbecue; at others we have selected great restaurants for you. There’s always the chance to try local dishes and where there’s a set menu, you’ll also find children’s alternatives available.

What’s a typical day?

We wouldn’t like to say there’s a typical day but we always begin with a leisurely breakfast. Your hiking and activity leader will then offer you a 2-3 hour walk, with lunch along the way. Then it’s back to your base, where you can choose to relax by the pool, try a new activity, explore further afield or get closer to the local culture. We hand-pick all our holiday hotels and villages to make sure there’s always something your family will want to do.
