Discover Samos, a beautiful Eastern Aegean Island

For great family walking, stunning vistas, pleasant beaches, superb weather and fabulous Greek hospitality, the island of Samos is perfect.

One of the most beautiful and verdant of the Aegean islands, the countryside here is idyllic. It boasts richly wooded valleys, rocky coves, mountain villages and picturesque harbour towns. We'll explore the island following mule tracks and nature trails, taking in historic Pythagorion, thought to be over 2,000 years old. Along the way, we'll discover tranquil streams, lush, shady undergrowth and a wild, rugged coastline. We'll also eat in local tavernas and have ample opportunities to swim in the glorious Mediterranean. You can also enjoy a fantastic boat excursion to a beautifully sheltered beach.

Accommodation: Accommodation at the Anthis apartments and studios in Pythagorion. * On May 29, we stay six nights at the hotel, as the outward journey is on an overnight flight.

Supplementary Information: Don't forget you'll have the full services of our fully trained and child-friendly hiking leader throughout your stay ensuring that you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday. All leaders will have first aid training. Be assured, it's your holiday and so you really can set your own agenda. Join in with the days' walking and the afternoon activities if you want to or take a day or two for time on your own with your family. Your leader will be full of ideas to inspire you or you can simply kick back and relax!
