A week in Vermenton, France

Our holiday starts at St Pancras boarding the Eurostar to Paris, what a relaxed way to take kids on holiday! We have plenty of time to cross Paris before taking the train on to Vermenton. Our hotel, 15 Place Voltaire, is less than 10 minutes' walk from the station.

During the week we have an exciting mix to include cycling, canoeing, zip wires, walking, fishing, swimming, eating, drinking, enjoying the beautiful undulating countryside, great food, ample and child friendly facilities that this quiet corner of Burgundy has to offer.

Travel by Eurostar via Channel Tunnel and local train and taxi onwards from Paris
A day's canoeing down the River Cure
A day's canal bank cycling, flat, easy, traffic free and very scenic
La Grotte - a half day adventure on the wires

Supplementary Information: Don't forget you'll have the full services of our fully trained and child-friendly hiking leader throughout your stay ensuring that you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday. All leaders will have first aid training. Be assured, it's your holiday and so you really can set your own agenda. Join in with the days' walking and the afternoon activities if you want to or take a day or two for time on your own with your family. Your leader will be full of ideas to inspire you or you can simply kick back and relax!
