Crete is more than just another Greek island. It boasts wonderful beaches and sheltered bays, good countryside walking, hospitable people and some excellent, local cuisine. We'll explore the north-western part of the island following mule tracks and nature trails, taking in the ruined harbour of Falassarna and the Agia Sofia caves. We'll eat in local tavernas and have ample opportunities to swim in the glorious Mediterranean. We’ll also enjoy a boat excursion to the pirate island of Gramvousa and swim in the Balos lagoon.

Comfortable accommodation at the family owned Hotel Kissamoss in Kastelli. Rooms are en suite and all have a balcony. The hotel has an inviting swimming and sun terrace.

Don't forget you'll have the full services of our fully trained and child-friendly hiking leader throughout your stay ensuring that you all have a safe and enjoyable holiday. All leaders will have first aid training. Be assured, it's your holiday and so you really can set your own agenda. Join in with the days' walking and the afternoon activities if you want to or take a day or two for time on your own with your family. Your leader will be full of ideas to inspire you or you can simply kick back and relax!
